Porsche engineers have succeeded in further whittling down the curb weight. Following a familiar formula, the Weissach edition switches to carbon fiber for the roof, suspension components, hood, side mirrors and even the shift paddles.
For buyers interested in another slight reduction of around 25 pounds, magnesium wheels are available as a $13,000 upgrade atop the Weissach Package’s $18,000 premium. Opting for both elevates the total sticker price to more than $218,000.
