DYNAMIC DEBUT OF NEW CONTINENTAL GT SPEED AND FLYING SPUR SPEED IN ASIA PACIFIC

 Regional launch of fourth generation Continental GT Speed and Flying Spur Speed in Japan
 Dynamic debut at THE MAGARIGAWA CLUB, Asia’s first members-only private driving club
 All-new 782 PS, 1000 Nm ‘Ultra Performance Hybrid’ powertrain

(Chiba, 10 October 2024) Bentley today announced that the new fourth-generation Continental GT Speed and Flying Spur Speed will make its dynamic debut in Asia Pacific at THE MAGARIGAWA CLUB in Chiba, Japan on 7 October.

The all-new 782 PS, 1000 Nm ‘Ultra Performance Hybrid’ powertrain redefines the new Continental GT Speed and Flying Spur Speed as the most powerful road-going Bentleys ever. The new powertrain endows the Continental GT Speed with performance abilities of a true everyday supercar; acceleration from 0-100 km/h is achieved in 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 335 km/h, and yet it achieves 81 km of usable electric-only range, while emitting just 29 g/km of CO2 on the WLTP drive cycle. The extraordinary breadth of capabilities similarly extends to the new Flying Spur Speed. The ultimate luxury performance sedan can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, while delivering a pure electric drive up to 76 km – all while lowering CO2 emissions by 90% over the outgoing Flying Spur Speed.

Beneath the skin, a new electrical architecture brings the most modern suite of automotive technology in the luxury class with the Bentley Performance Active Chassis, which includes new twin-valve dampers, an electronic limited slip differential, all-wheel steering and Bentley Dynamic Ride (48V electric active anti-roll control).

Inside, the handcrafted cabins of the new Continental GT Speed and new Flying Spur Speed are further elevated with new wellness technology, including intelligent air ionisation and the option of automatic postural adjustment on all four seats. Possibilities for personalisation are also broadened through exquisite new details, such as three-dimensional, textured leather upholstery, revised quilting and a new dark chrome finish.

Nico Kuhlmann, Regional Director of Bentley Motors Asia Pacific, commented:

“With THE MAGARIGAWA CLUB, we have an exclusive opportunity for our customers in Japan to enjoy a truly unique driving experience in one of the world’s most coveted private driving clubs. Designed by the world-renowned F1 circuit design team at Tilke Engineers and Architects, the thrilling driving course at THE MAGARIGAWA CLUB forms the perfect setting to showcase the extraordinary capabilities of the new Continental GT Speed and new Flying Spur Speed.”
