2018 SCG 004S-Designed and developed in the United States

Now a fully approved United States Low Volume Manufacturer, Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus announced a new, more affordable model in November of 2017. The plan is to have a running prototype of the 004S ready by mid 2018 with a production ready version available for the first 25 ‘Founding Edition’ cars late in 2018 through to 2019.

Designed and developed in the United States, the 004S will be constructed around a carbon-fibre composite monocoque built by Rhode Island based specialists Fast Forward Composites. Mounted amidships will be a twin-turbo V8 engine, which will be good for around 650 bhp. While a paddle-actuated gearbox is available as an option, the car will be delivered as standard with a six-speed manual gearbox.

In addition to the fully road legal 004S, SCG will also be true to their competition heritage with racing versions that could be used in sports car races around the world, like the Nurburgring 24 Hours, 24 Hours of Le Mans and Sebring 12 Hours.

The 004S is now available for order and to get on the list, a 10% of the $400,000 sticker price will be required. The first 25 ‘Founder Edition’ cars are already almost sold out.
