Aerodynamic and lightweight components include the following in carbon fiber: front splitter, front access panel, bargeboards, roof, diffuser surround, expanded air-intake side pods, tailgate, and a large rear wing. These components help enable up to 440 lbs of downforce at the car’s top speed of 175 mph. Carbon fiber also finds its way into the interior with the lightweight racing style seats as well as on the door sills.
The 3.5 liter supercharged V6 putting out 375 hp is backed by a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission with the striking open-gate gearbox design.
A lightweight T45 steel roll over bar provides safety and further strengthens the aluminum chassis.
